Privacy policy

What this website collects, what joining involves, who processes what, how long it stays and how to ask us to delete it.

1. Scope

The 888 Vault decides why and how the personal data described here is handled. Write to akreedworld888@gmail.com with any question about this policy or about your own data.

This policy covers three things: the enquiry form on this website, the technical data any web server processes in order to serve a page, and — described separately below — what joining the course and the community involves.

It does not replace the policies of the platforms we use to deliver the course and to run the community. Those companies handle data under their own terms, and the relevant sections below say so explicitly rather than implying we control it.

2. What the website collects

The enquiry form asks for a name and an email address, both needed in order to reply, optionally the topic of the enquiry, and whatever you write in the message field.

Please do not send broker credentials, account numbers, screenshots of trading accounts or identity documents through this form or by email. None of it is needed to answer an enquiry, we will never ask for it, and an inbox is the wrong place for it. If you send something of that kind by mistake, tell us and we will delete the message.

Writing directly to our email address collects the same categories in the same way.

Separately, the infrastructure delivering this website processes the data any server needs in order to respond: the IP address of the connection, the page requested, the response status and general browser information. That is operational data, is not combined with enquiry data and is not used to profile anybody.

3. What joining involves

Buying a tier means giving payment and contact details to the course platform used at checkout. That platform is the party that processes the payment; we receive confirmation that a purchase was made and the details needed to grant access. We do not receive or store full card details at any point.

Full membership includes access to our community server on Discord. Using it means having a Discord account, which is a relationship between you and Discord under their terms and their privacy policy. What we see there is what any server operator sees: your Discord identity and what you post in the server.

Anything you post in the community is visible to other members. That is the point of the room, and it is worth remembering before posting anything you would not want a stranger to read — including screenshots that contain account balances or personal information.

4. Why we hold it

To answer enquiries, and to continue a conversation where one is underway.

To provide what somebody has bought: granting access, restoring it when it breaks, and dealing with a refund request under the refund policy.

To keep a record. A business that will later be asked what was said before somebody bought something needs to be able to establish it, and that record protects the member as much as us.

To keep the site and the community safe: detecting abuse, dealing with impersonation, and enforcing the community rules.

We do not sell data, we do not use enquiries for advertising, and we do not add enquirers to a marketing list. If we ever wanted to send you something that was not a reply to your own message, we would ask first.

5. On what basis

The legal basis depends on the law that applies to you, so this describes the position substantively.

Answering an enquiry is processing necessary to respond to a request you made, and where relevant to take steps before entering into a contract. Providing access to something you bought is processing necessary to perform that contract. Keeping a record afterwards rests on our legitimate interest in being able to establish what was agreed, weighed against your reasonable expectations.

Where the applicable law requires consent for something — non-essential analytics on this website, for instance — we ask separately and do not treat silence as agreement.

Where local law gives you rights beyond those described below, those rights apply and nothing here limits them.

6. Who else sees it

Enquiries are not shared with other members, not passed to affiliates or introducers, and not sold.

A small number of providers necessarily process data so that any of this works: the hosting and content-delivery platform that serves this static website, the serverless function and email delivery service that carry an enquiry to our inbox, our business email account, the course platform used at checkout, and Discord for the community.

Those providers act under their own terms for the parts they control and under our instructions for the parts we control. Because that infrastructure is distributed internationally, data may be processed outside your country; where that applies we rely on the providers' contractual commitments and safeguards.

We may disclose data where legally required, or where necessary to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim. In either case we disclose no more than is required.

7. How long it stays, and what you can ask for

Enquiry correspondence is kept for as long as it is needed for the purposes above. Purchase and access records are kept for as long as the relationship needs a record and for the period afterwards during which a question about the transaction could reasonably arise. We review what is held and delete what no longer serves a purpose described here.

Subject to the law that applies to you, you may ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, ask us to restrict how we use it, object to processing based on a legitimate interest, and where applicable receive what you gave us in a portable form.

Write to akreedworld888@gmail.com describing what you want. We may ask a question to be confident we are dealing with the right person, kept proportionate to the request. We aim to respond substantively within thirty days and to say so if a request will take longer.

For data held by Discord or by the course platform about your account with them, those companies are the ones to ask, and we will tell you which is which if it is unclear.

8. Security, age and changes

The site is served over an encrypted connection. Access to correspondence is limited to the people who need it. No system is perfect, which is why section 2 asks you not to send credentials or account screenshots by email.

The course and the community are for adults. They are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data relating to them. Where a platform we use sets its own minimum age, that applies as well.

We may update this policy when our practices, our providers or the site change. The date at its head records the current version, and where a change is significant and we are already corresponding with you, we will mention it there.
